St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (est. 1946) This Moorish-style church is accented with beautiful statues. In 1949, St. Martin's was the victim of arson; however, the fire was put out before structural damage could occur. St. Martin's held funerals for John Candy, Nicole Simpson, sports columnist Jim Murray, and Lakers announcer Chick Hearn.
