Youth minister and lay evangelist, Michael Gormley, talks about how to have a better prayer life in this video from the #ShareJesus project. As Gormley points out, the point of Catholic prayer is to put us in union with God. Even when we come to Mass each Sunday, many of us don’t do what the Church asks of us, which is to pray the Mass and not just say the Mass. The only way we can do this is to first have a personal prayer life. Gormley, who’s been teaching people to pray for the past 8 years, offers three simple tips for how you can deepen your prayer life this Lent or anytime.
