Last week, In a podcast interview with The Church Boys, Dr. Theresa Deisher said that she was consulted by David Daleiden, the head of the Center for Medical Progress—the group behind the videos showing Planned Parenthood selling fetal tissue and body parts.
Deisher, founder of Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute and AVM Biotechnology, vocally opposes embryonic stem cell research and the harvesting of aborted fetal tissue. She has long suspected aborted fetuses are sometimes alive when their hearts are harvested becaue of what she knows about the science behind the harvesting of fetal body parts. In fact, a new video, the eighth in the series, alleges that a brain was harvested from a “late-term male fetus whose heart was still beating” and the sixth video released makes reference to this practice.
Deisher cited research she has read from other scientists:
“Scientists doing research on fetal heart muscle describe the optimal tissue and the procurement parameters, and they state in their papers that gestational age of greater than 20 weeks is optimal,” she said, noting that a child at 22 or 23 weeks gestation could survive and live a normal life. “Fetal gestational age of 20 weeks or beyond is preferable.”
Deisher went on to say that the process, as far as she is concerned, likely wouldn’t be possible if a baby were to be killed in utero and then harvested afterward since it likely involves “removing the heart, flushing the blood out and cleaning the organ:”
“You just can’t do that if the baby has been killed in utero … think of that timing,” she said. “Because of that, I have suspected for years that, in some instances, these babies are alive when they are dissected and harvested.”
Although Desiher says she was not involved with the filming or editing of the video series, the Blaze reports that Daleiden relied on Deisher for information:
“[I made him] aware of how the material was being described,” she told The Church Boys of her discussions with Daleiden. “And most importantly were my suspicions that some of these babies were alive when they were harvested.”
Deisher also expressed surprise in the interview at Daleiden’s ability to gain access to Planned Parenthood staffers for the conversations he recorded:
“I think that it speaks to the absolute arrogance of the organization,” she said. “They are so arrogant that either they thought that they were impenetrable, or they believe that they are so powerful that nothing can bring them down.”
Aleteia ran an interview with Dr. Deisher about the use of fetal tissue in vaccines here.
