You have opened the eyes of my heart. You have opened the heavens and sent forth your light.
In his book Jesus of Nazareth, pope emeritus Benedict XVI said that Christ’s throne is the cross, and that God’s way of reigning is different than the world’s. For God does not reign through imposition and force, but through service and love. He does not have subjects, but children. Heaven has its own divine dynamic.
In this splendid video, Catholic singer Kairy Marquez lends her voice as an instrument to this great truth: Jesus is the King who loves, welcomes and forgives. This Lent, may every Christian hear the call to proclaim Christ as the only Lord of his life and the story of his soul.
