There is a promising trend in advertising these days — an increased use of narrative and story-telling, that is helping to transform typical Madison Avenue bombast into something warmer and (probably) more lasting in the minds of consumers.
This ad out of Poland — shot in English — is a terrific example of precisely this new style. It tells a moving story — in which branding plays only a peripheral role — that touches on human truths and deep values, using subtle humor and pathos.
