You are the beloved daughter of the Father, the apple of His eye
Hey, girl,
If you knew how God loves you, you would not beg for attention and affection, especially not from those who say they love but don’t act with love. You haven’t realized it yet, but you are precious, and that will never change.
You are unique, beloved and cared for. You are the daughter of the One who created every star and calls each by name. I’m pretty sure you haven’t yet even begun to grasp what this means.
Dear one, you are the daughter of the Creator of the universe. Does this not make your heart feel different? You are not an error, in no way an accident. You are the most beautiful part of creation.
Perhaps you are asking: “If I am a daughter, where is my Father when I need him most?”
And I answer: He is at your side. When that guy broke your heart, He was there. When you feel alone, then too He is there. When you cry in secret, He’s there.
Perhaps you ask then: “If He was there, why didn’t He stop my suffering?”
And I answer again: He didn’t stop it because He respects our freedom.
You must understand and truly know that you cannot settle for just anything, because He hasn’t allotted just anything for you. His portion for you is something valuable and special. You may have made mistakes, but He always forgives and welcomes a repentant heart.
You are a daughter, and as a daughter you will be corrected by your Father, but corrected in love. You are not alone. You have never been nor will ever be alone. You have not been abandoned. Your wounds? He will heal them. Your past? He leaves it in the past.
You are the beloved daughter of the Father, the apple of His eye. Though you are not perfect, and though you do not merit it, His love for you does not come and go. It is permanent and unchanging. It is there forever.

Only when we meet the living God in Christ do we know what life is. We are not some casual and meaningless product of evolution. Each of us is the result of a thought of God. Each of us is willed, each of us is loved, each of us is necessary … There is nothing more beautiful than to know Him … (Benedict XVI)
