Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see

LOVIC PREKRINSKI, CROATIA: This sleepy village appears to be lost in a sea of clouds. Meanwhile treetops and a church bell tower just manage to break through the thick shroud of clouds as the sun comes up. Local tourism company owner Rene Pronk took the breathtaking pictures from another hillside above the village of Lovic Prekriski, Croatia, where less than 100 people live. The 46-year-old, from Gorniki Vivodinski, also in Croatia, said he had been trying for three years to capture the eerie images - but until now the small village had never been covered by the mist.

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Hebrews 11:1-3
