High atop a hill overlooking the Little Sisters of the Poor Mission in Gallup, New Mexico stands a Shrine to Our Lady of Guadalupe. The Villa Guadalupe Mission was founded in 1983 in the “Indian Nation” surrounded by the Navaho, Zuni, Ute,Dine and Apache tribal reservations. They compassionately serve the elderly, poor and downtrodden of the region as family treating them with dignity and respect.
