Mother Dolores Hart pets a cat at the Abbey of Regina Laudis monastery in Bethlehem, Connecticut. Mother Dolores, a cloistered nun, was once an actress whose luminous blue eyes entranced Elvis Presley in his first on-screen movie kiss. She walked away from Hollywood stardom in 1963 to become a nun in rural Bethlehem, but this time it’s all about serving the King of Kings, not the King of Rock and Roll.
