If this doesn’t inspire you to go to Eucharist Adoration, what will?

These Nigerian soldiers, who are at war with terrorists from Boko Haram, take time out to kneel before Jesus in the Eucharist.

According to Nigerian pro-life activist Obianuju Ekeocha, the video shows the soldiers “praising Jesus in my language with the same words we use in greeting a King (Jesus Igwe!).”

The faith demonstrated by these soldiers is a visible sign of a thriving Catholic Church. In Nigeria, the number of baptized Catholics increased from 19 million in 2005 to over 52 million in 2010. The country is experiencing a vocations boom, as well, with over 2,000 Catholic priests and 4,000 religious Sisters serving Nigerian Catholics.
