During this liturgical season of turning our hearts toward God and preparing for Christmas, many holy saints seemed to live the spirit of Advent with special meaning. Some, like St. Peter Canisius, celebrate their feast days during Advent, while others embody an eager zeal for Christ in the way they lived.
