And Pope Francis sends his own gift: 4 respirators to the children of Venezuela suffering from lung diseases. Vatican News reported that Pope Francis spent his 84th birthday today in tranquility, silence, and prayer, sharing his meals as he always does with the other residents of the Casa Santa Marta.

For his part, the pope sent a gift of four respirators to Venezuela in a sign of closeness to children with lung diseases.
