Queen Elizabeth stars in comedy sketch with Paddington Bear … and it’s adorable!

The British Sovereign kicked off the Party at the Palace in a surprise comedy sketch, and it was a real treat!

As the Platinum Jubilee celebrations continue, Queen Elizabeth II has had to pull out of some of the events due to mobility issues. However, never one to shirk her responsibilities, the 96-year-old surprised the nation with a comedy sketch with the nation’s favorite bear, Paddington.

Before the long-awaited Party at the Palace event — a concert held at Buckingham Palace — big screens showed the sovereign sitting down for tea with Paddington. It was the most delightful sketch highlighting the queen’s warmth, wit, acting skills, impressive rhythm, and her desire to not let the her royal fans down. (And we’re sure her young great-grandchildren will be over the moon!)

We won’t spoil it for you, but just take two minutes to see what has to be one of Elizabeth II’s most adorable moments during her long reign.
