'The Hour of the Laity' challenges lay Catholics to take roles as civic leaders.

Tepeyac Leadership, Inc. (TLI), with the support of the Most Reverend Thomas Olmsted, Bishop Emeritus of Phoenix and TLI’s founder, will release a new documentary on October 1, 2022, highlighting the role of the laity in civil society.

According to a press release, "The Hour of the Laity shows that lay Catholic leadership is not meant to be lived out within the confines of the Catholic community exclusively, but instead serve as a guiding force which illuminates every aspect of secular society with the Truth of the Gospel. The documentary explains why lay Catholic professionals have a unique responsibility and privileged opportunity to influence the world for Christ."

TLI’s CEO, Cristofer Pereyra, has already written a book on a similar topic, called Catholic Leadership for Civil Society. In it, Pereyra "explains why lay Catholic professionals have a unique responsibility and privileged opportunity to influence the world for Christ. It’s not an optional prerogative, but their duty as baptized children of God."

The 11-minute film will be available on October 1, 2022, on TLI’s YouTube and Facebook accounts.
