Justin Bieber gave his fans a pleasant surprise when he took the stage at the Rock in Rio music festival on Sunday, September 4.
Until hours before the show the pop star's participation in the festival was uncertain. Bieber has been canceling various performances to take care of his health. He has already revealed that he has depression and recently he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which paralyzed part of his face.

The opening video of Justin Bieber's participation at Rock in Rio conveyed a strong message of faith and was a reflection of the phase that the artist is going through. On the big screen, the Canadian singer appeared in the middle of nature. At one point, he said:
Bieber gave a concert that didn’t disappoint the audience, despite the difficulties that the artist has been facing in his personal life. In the middle of the performance, he paid tribute to his wife, Hailey Bieber, who earlier this year developed a blood clot in her brain.
Near the end of the show, Bieber talked more about God and prayed for the audience, thanking Jesus many times. The singer said:
God is not far. He is near. He is near to the broken hearted. He is smiling at you, he adores you, you’re the apple of his eye (…) I pray for Brazil, I pray for each and every person hearing the sound of my voice (…) You are the comforter, you are the healer, you are the redeemer. A member of the Churchome evangelical church, the Canadian singer recently revealed that faith helped him overcome the disease that paralyzed his face. "I know this storm will pass but in the meantime JESUS IS WITH ME," Bieber said on social media.
Bieber has been involved in multiple scandals and has even been arrested for problems involved with drug addiction. However, he revealed that religion and his marriage to Hailey Bieber have changed his life.
