When a hiker lent a hand to a woman, she ended up meeting a group of volunteers who help those passing away.

A recent Instagram post from @howcarolinecarolines shared a brief moment where a group of very special songstresses gathered to demonstrate their angelic vocals.

The Instagram user explained that while going for a hike she happened to come across a woman who needed a little help unloading a car. She was bringing tables to a gathering of her Threshold Choir. The Instagramer offered her a helping hand, and in return was invited to come and meet the ladies after her hike.

On her post, the Instagram user explained that she returned to where the women had set up their tables in the great outdoors and witnessed their melodic tones in action.

If you're not aware of what a Threshold Choir is, it is groups of singers who volunteer their time to "to provide comfort through song to those at end of life." Incredibly, in her comment, @howcarolinecarolines explained that she herself is a death doula; helping those in the process of dying and their loved ones.

It's impossible not to be moved by these beautiful voices that offer comfort and peace at the threshold between life and death, just as this video below shows:
