The one question to ask if you worry a lot

A recent video reminds us of the importance of taking down all those obstacles and considering what happens when we say "yes."

If you're an anxious person, you probably avoid taking risks. You're quicker to say "no" than to say "yes" to opportunities in fear of the unknown, in fear of a potentially uncomfortable change.

However, a short video on Instagram by Josie Balka reminds us of the importance of just letting go. While we won't tell you the contents of the reel, it's worth noting the final question: "What if it all goes right?"

It's a question we don't tend to ask ourselves. We usually spend time considering the inverse: what if it all goes wrong? Yet as Catholics this reel actually echoes the message of the faith: to put your trust in God and to succumb to His will.

Therefore, if you're prone to being stressed about making uncomfortable decisions, or doing something stressful, consider the joy and satisfaction of things going right. And more importantly, relax. Remember that your life is a journey with a navigator who will ensure you take a path that will lead to your eternal happiness. (Okay, there might be a few bumps, scratches, and dead ends a long way, but you'll arrive in one piece!)
