Hallow, the prayer app, has taken The Chosen's Jonathan Roumie on a journey through the Holy Land during Holy Week. This is a unique way to follow Jesus during these holy days.

A Holy Week series on Hallow is a "cinematic pilgrimage" through the Holy Land and the Christ's Passion.

The series, titled Holy Week in the Holy Land, follows actor Jonathan Roumie of The Chosen and biblical scholar Jeff Cavins through the Holy Land. The series was a production of Castletown Media and Hallow.

Holy Week in the Holy Land is "without a doubt one of the most impressive, capable, mission driven, talented teams we've ever gotten to work with," Hallow CEO Alex Jones told Aleteia.

The series is "the coolest stuff on the app so far," said Jones, adding that it was "an honor" to work with Castletown Media on the series.

The seven-part video series, which is viewable on the Hallow app, follows Roumie and Cavins as they travel through Jerusalem and to the Sea of Galilee.

"Holy Week in the Holy Land blends breathtaking cinematography with profound spiritual insight, offering a deeply immersive and personal encounter with the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus," said Hallow.

While most of Hallow's content is audio or written, Holy Week in the Holy Land highlights "the beauty of sacred spaces," said Tim Moriarty, founder of Castletown Media, in a statement.

"To bring that vision to life in the very locations where Christ lived, suffered, died, and rose from the dead was one of the most meaningful projects we’ve ever undertaken," said Moriarty.

The videos in Holy Week in the Holy Land were filmed on location in the Garden of Gethsemane, the Sea of Galilee, Golgotha, and Via Dolorosa, said a release from Hallow.

This "invites viewers to pray, reflect, and walk alongside Christ in a whole new way."
