Regular readers know that I am very much devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Church dedicates the month of June to the Sacred Heart, and Aleteia has recently published some interesting pieces about how to make an enthronement to the Sacred Heart in one’s home.
Some years ago, I hosted a podcast, and lately I have felt like taking it up again, so look for new podcasts here on my blog — I’ll be reading or discussing some pieces I find interesting, talking to book authors and otherwise playing around. Today, though, I’m very serious as I invite you to pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart with me, everyday, through the month of June. It is such a wonderful, calming, instructive litany, I feel like everyone who gives it a try will want to do it again. To pray it along with me, just click!

"Since you are here...
…we have a small favor to ask. Aleteia’s readership continues to grow rapidly, however advertising revenues across all media are falling fast. You may have noticed that many websites are putting up paywalls in order to sustain their journalism. For us, however, this is not an option as our apostolic mission is to encourage and inspire Christian life for as many Catholics as possible. We would also like to reduce the number of ads on the site, but it is simply not possible unless we generate income in other ways. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Aleteia’s journalism takes a lot of hard work and money to produce. We will continue to serve you because it is our mission, but please consider making a contribution to support our work and help us secure our future."
