Christopher Hudson is a Walmart employee who takes a lot of pride in a job that many others take for granted. At 18, he works five days a week to save up for college, and not only does he keep his store organized and efficient, he is incredibly helpful to the customers:
“I like to interact with the customers. I like to ask if there are any questions that they have, or if they have a problem I’d like to solve it for them.”
If Christopher’s work ethic and cheery disposition are not enough to land him the employee of the month slot, he also uses some of the money he makes to buy supplies for the back-to-school bins. With 66 dollars and employee discounts he can add more than 300 items to the pile.
When asked what his goal was, Christopher said:
“To get the world to be a little happier… I wanted to make people smile.”
The Daily Catch staff would like to thank Christopher for his selflessness and for practicing mercy so naturally. We wish you luck and success in your college education. With your attitude we believe you will go far.
