Gwen Stefani’s fourth studio album is her first with a Christmas theme. The title song from the work, “You Make It Feel Like Christmas,” is a lively duet between Stefani and country singer Blake Shelton. This original holiday tune is bound to become a classic, to be played along side “Baby It’s Cold Outside” and “Little Drummer Boy” as immortalized by Bing Crosby and David Bowie.
Gwen really went all out with her Christmas endeavors. Many artists would just pick their favorite carols and add their signature flair, but no less than of six of the 12 tracks are original Christmas songs, written by Stefani. “My Gift Is You” is a tender track with a really catchy hook and “Christmas Eve” is a deeply spiritual song about feeling lost the night before Christmas.
