A recent weather update from Milwaukee meteorologist Rebecca Schuld showed some pretty dismal upcoming weather, but her report was possibly the cheeriest ever to hit the air waves -- and relatable to moms and dads everywhere.
With COVID measures changing the practical ways so many now work, Schuld gave her report from a makeshift studio in the basement of her home, where her baby girl, Fiona, made her TV debut.
In fact, as a report by Inside Edition explained, the meteorologist recently gave birth to Fiona and was getting very little sleep. However, as is the case for many new parents, the show had to go on!
While performing a mic check with her babe in arms, a producer back in the TV studio spotted the 13-week-old on the set. Finding her irresistible, they suggested that Fiona help report on the chilly weather to come.
Thankfully the baby proved a real pro -- even though her mom felt her "bed hair" was a little messy -- and viewers everywhere raved about the sweet little girl, who was wrapped in her warm blanket.
The unusual TV appearance proves once more how parents everywhere can adapt and impress us in the unusual circumstances. And how children's don't need to come at the expense of professional obligations when we are creative and flexible.
Despite the projected cold weather, viewers of the weather forecast were left with a real sense of warmth.
