Morning prayer to be defended by God’s divine power

When we rise in the morning, it is most appropriate to begin our day in prayer, asking for God's divine protection.

Often we are tempted throughout the day, and so it is best if we do a little preemptive planning and ask for God's help in fending off what the world, flesh and the devil have in store for us.
