The funniest Christmas Nativity performance you’ll ever see

You might remember from your own childhood that one of the toughest things about this performance is getting a key part. If you didn't make it as Joseph or the Virgin Mary, then being an angel or Wise Man was a pretty important role, and let's not forget the sheep in the manger.

Well, in an adorable performance some of the key players got a little physical when a sheep became a little too enamored with Baby Jesus.

Between the audience in stitches, the swaying sheep, and a very protective Mary ... and then Joseph, this sweet little video will certainly get you in the festive spirit. And of course, the dulcet tones of the choir softly singing "Away in a Manger" are just the perfect touch.

The sheep's mom, Tana Benson, shared the story on Facebook, saying:

"My little sheep took the baby Jesus, breaking all the rules leaving poor little Mary no choice but to take action! Momma to the rescue tried her best to protect her baby at all costs. Definitely a program I will remember. LOVE these kiddos and my church family! Laughed so hard I cried."
