Polish President Andrzej Duda visited the Vatican on March 28, 2025, for a final visit, after two five-year terms at the head of his country. Pope Francis, whose visits remain limited due to his state of health, was unable to receive him. However, he met with Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin and the Undersecretary for Relations with States, Mgr. Mirosław Wachowski (a Polish national).
