This space allows you to publish your prayer intention (hereinafter referred to as the “Intention”) on the https://aleteia.org website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”).
The Site is not responsible for the content of the Intentions.
Any Intention that contravenes the Site's rules of use, the law, or any other code of conduct, is the sole responsibility of its author.
If you believe that an Intention you have seen is objectionable, you are encouraged to report it to us immediately by e-mail at [email protected] .
You are free to publish an Intention on the Site as long as it remains within the bounds of legality and courtesy.
Accordingly, you undertake to comply with all applicable legislation and not to infringe the rights of third parties, and in particular :
- not to publish in the Intention any personal data that could be used to identify a person (first or last name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, etc.);
- not to publish messages that are abusive, defamatory, racist, offensive to morality, violent, or pornographic, or messages which by their very nature are likely to infringe on respect for human dignity and privacy, equality between men and women, or the protection of children and adolescents;
- not to publish messages encouraging the commission of crimes and/or offenses, or inciting to consume prohibited substances, or messages inciting discrimination, hatred, or violence;
- not to send messages that do not respect the intellectual property rights of others: for example, messages must not contain documents protected by copyright or trademark, without the owner's authorization;
- not to publish, distribute, or transmit as an Intention photographs or illustrations depicting recognizable persons, so as not to infringe the privacy or other more generally any rights of any third party whatsoever, nor the laws and regulations in force;
- not to publish, distribute, or transmit as an Intention any content, information, comments, opinions, or other messages that may disrupt, slow down, or prevent the the proper operation of the Site;
- not to publish, disseminate, or transmit as an Intention any content, information, comments, opinions, or other messages that may harm the honor or reputation of the authors of the works as well as the works themselves.
We may check Intentions a posteriori, and reserve the right to remove or delete, in whole or in part, without notice to the author, any Intention which may constitute a violation of the above terms as well as of any legal or regulatory regulations in force.
In the event of repeated abuse, the administrators have the right to restrict access to an Internet user, to prohibit him/her from publishing an Intention, and/or to terminate his/her account.
