Walls of refugee neighborhoods of Freiburg in Germany are dotted with the expression: “Issa is the solution!” — a message to all the Arab refugees to meet Jesus, whom Muslims call “Issa,” and an invitation to salvation launched by some German enthusiasts in a bid to encourage refugees to convert to Christianity.
When questioned about the subject, some Germans told Aleteia that the number of refugees in Germany is increasing and some are afraid they won’t integrate into the German society. Is this the reality on the ground? This is the impression given by the media and the elderly while the society, the Church and the government are opening up their doors for refugees in order to help them integrate into the German society, knowing that mankind is at the center of all assistance, regardless of the color, religion and sex.
