Malteser International is healing the wounds of war.Kilis, Turkey, is a place probably not too many people have heard of. It's in the southeast of Anatolia, close to the Syrian border, which means it's much affected by the fighting in Syria.

In fact, the city now has more refugees than local residents. That's why Malteser International, the relief agency of the Sovereign Order of Malta for humanitarian aid, has built a field hospital, treating refugees with severe injuries.

The work requires special care, as the victims have lost homes and family members. This video provides a glimpse into that work, led by the Catholic organization in cooperation with its Turkish partner organization.
