"A Different Kind of Battlefield" looks at a recently released survey of active service members and finds some alarming signs.
"Suicide is now the leading cause of death among active duty personnel, exceeding both accidents and combat. Currently, one active-duty service member a day commits suicide, and when that lens is widened to include all veterans, both active and separated, the daily figure swells to 22 per day."

"DC Catholic Schools" highlights the continued agenda to control Christianity in America. “The major concern here is the local government stepping into Church schools and telling them how to run their schools and what the balance has to be for their faith and to exist in the District of Columbia,” says Mark Trammell, an attorney for the Liberty Counsel.

Former Archbishop Rowan Williams wades into EU withdrawal debate — Leaving the EU would leave Britain “dangerously dependent” on bankers, argues former Archbishop of Canterbury. (A man who in the minds of many was probably the worst Archbishop of Canterbury in modern history, is now trying to sell us his pro-European agenda on a matter he knows little about. His understanding of what is now the "EU" and his "fears" over our withdrawal from this plague are so far removed from fact that his comments, as so often, beggar belief! ASQUITH’S COMMENTS
In Mark Gordon’s
"A Different Kind of Battlefield"
we read about the appalling drop in morale currently affecting the US military and which, understandably, is a cause for grave concern. What Mark did not mention however is the full-frontal assault which has been unleashed upon the military by the Obama administration with regard to the expression of Christianity. The continued marginalizing and belittling of the Christian faith within the armed forces is itself demoralizing but more than that, an indictment of America’s lack of response amidst growing intolerance towards God. This isn’t just painful for Christians to observe, it affects "regular" soldiers who even if non-practicing in their faith tend (in the majority) to draw comfort and confidence from the presence of others who do and from the pastoral attentions of military chaplains. The military of the West has a rich history of dependence upon God, and I dread to think of the outcome of removing Him from such a vital organization.

"DC Catholic Schools" reveals yet another assault against Christianity in America. What we need to be mindful of is this; that if the "relative" freedoms the Church and Christians now possess are allowed to be taken away, the chances of their restoration in the prevailing political tide are less than slim.
