In surprise, two trips to Rome awarded
The competition ended on December 23 at 12:00 (Rome time)
At last we have the final ranking of the Aleteia Christmas Competition. The first prize for the competition is a trip to Rome, and the other finalists will receive a replica of Pope Francis’s pectoral cross. The results are world-wide, from the six editions of Aleteia (English, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Italian and Spanish).
The final show-down, between two women, was exciting: after days of being in first place, Sahhar (Iraq) was surpassed in the last few hours of the competition by Sandra (Brazil). Because of this, and because of the difficult situation of the Christians in Iraq, the jury has decided to reward Sahhar with a trip to Rome as well.
