Flowers and candles can bring hope, even to little ones
This father’s attempts to assuage his son’s fears in the wake of the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday bring to mind St. Paul’s words in his letter to the Ephesians:
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
