“It is not safe, but we don’t have another choice…please pray for us…”

With the news from Aleppo, Syria so very dreadful, day after day, it is good to see this smiling young woman — traveling with friends from “Egypt and Syria and Lebanon” — as she talks about escaping from that reality, and into the hope of World Youth Day:

She says that there are “five people from Aleppo” and shares that it is “so good” to be at World Youth Day. Asked if she will return to Aleppo, she says, “It is not safe, but we don’t have another choice. It’s…I don’t know, please pray for us. Just pray for us.”
