Nick Vujicic “Can Get Through Anything”

J-P Mauro - published on 08/15/17

It takes an incredible person to overcome hardship with joy.

Nick Vujicic may not have legs, but he has traveled farther than many people who have two. The music video for his tune “I Can Get Through Anything” shows him all over the world: on stages, in studios, swimming in the ocean, and even surfing.

Motivational speaker Nick Vujicic uses his disability to inspire

Nick was born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of arms and legs, but his faith in Jesus and love of life has guided him to “get through anything.”

Vujicic is obviously not a trained vocalist, but in this case it brings an honest charm and authenticity to the simple song of praise. It was also fun to watch Nick have the time of his life in the recording studio.

Nick made this video with the help of the Production Music Association (PMA) Music Foundation, a non-profit institution that promotes and expands music education programs in Hong Kong and China. Vujicic and the PMA Music Foundation have teamed previously, putting on a series of events in 2008, where Nick gave testimony in conjunction with performances by Hong Kong Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and Opera Chorus. They have also released an illustrated children’s book together called Give Me a Hug.
