This gentle melody may become a Christmas classic.Verónica Sanfilippo released this original Christmas song on December 4, 2017, and it is quickly becoming one of our favorites. The gentle melody speaks of the hope brought to us all upon the birth of Jesus:

Today, humanity celebrates
and the angels cheer
that the Lord was present
It has brought hope.

This helpless child,
lying in the manger,
is El Salvador of the world
and it gives us a perennial life.

Sanfilippo emotionally sings the lulliby melody accompanied on guitar by Augusto Weiss and her producer, Jonatan Narvaez, who also provides some support vocals. This is the seventh single Sanfilippo has recorded with Narvaez; they have yet to put together an album.

We loved that this budding young artist created an original Christmas tune to celebrate the holiday. It is a nice respite from the overplayed standards, and we hope that more artists follow in Verónica’s footsteps.
