In this season of Advent, much of the focus is on the prophecies of Christ in the Old Testament. But how much do we know about the land and the people into which Christ was born?
One of many ways of enhancing our knowledge is to check out a free, online course on Ancient Israel, offered by New York University. Taught by Daniel E. Fleming, professor of Hebrew and Judaic Studies, the course is available here.
