You’ll definitely want to bookmark this list of 900 free audio books available for download and helpfully compiled by the folks at Open Culture. Lovers of classic literature are in luck as Great Books – which are licensed under “public domain” — dominate the list.

We can’t vouch for every reader, but the narrator of Jane Austen’s Mansfield Park was excellent and this recording came in very handy on a particularly monotonous section of Interstate 95.
