The faithful will have a chance to see the pope in person again (from afar), starting February 7Pope Francis will go back to the window overlooking St. Peter’s Square to deliver his address before praying the midday Angelus, starting this Sunday, February 7.
He has been live-streaming the address and the Marian prayer from the Apostolic Library since right before Christmas, December 20.
A screen placed in St. Peter’s Square each week did give the handful of pilgrims in the Square a chance to follow the prayer.
The faithful follow the prayer from outdoors and the Square offers ample space for necessary distancing.
