Ask your angel to accompany you as you approach the altar.When we attend Mass, we so often forget that it is a meeting place of Heaven and Earth. We do not see the heavenly host of angels and saints who surround the altar at Mass, or who fill the Church with their joyous songs of praise.
One way we can help ourselves remember this fact is by asking our Guardian Angel to accompany us to Holy Communion, as they can further prepare our hearts to receive Jesus into our hearts.

O my good angel, it is your Lord, as well as mine, that I am going to receive; help me to receive Him worthily.
