Podcasts are a new form of communication—the word “podcast” wasn’t even coined until 2004. But they’ve become incredibly popular in a short time. It’s no wonder, since they’re convenient and easy to listen to on the go.

Podcasts are a great way to multitask and enjoy some entertainment while commuting, cleaning, cooking, or working out. In fact, the top reason most people enjoy listening to podcasts is because “you can do other things while listening!”

Of course, podcasts can benefit listeners beyond just entertainment. They can be a wonderful way to learn and grow in faith. For Christians, podcasts can educate us about things like the Bible and the saints, and inspire us to practice prayer and acts of kindness.

More men than women listen to podcasts, so if you’re reading this, you might have a few podcasts you love already.
