The pop star shared with millions of his fans how he is leaning on Jesus through his ordeal.

One of the reasons Justin Bieber has managed to notch up so many millions of followers is undoubtedly his boyish good looks. So it's no doubt extra difficult for him to deal with his recent diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome (caused by a varicella-zoster virus, which causes chicken pox and shingles) and has led to a temporary facial paralysis.

The 28-year-old, however, shared with all of his fans that the one thing that's been helping him through these trying times has been his faith.

... Each day has gotten better and through all of the discomfort I have found comfort in the one who designed me and knows me. I'm reminded he knows all of me. He know the darkest parts of me that I want no one to know about and he constantly welcomes me into his loving arms. This perspective has given me peace during this horrific storm that I'm facing. I know this storm will pass but in the meantime JESUS IS WITH ME."

He'd also previously shared a video with his fans in which he asks for their prayers and explains a little more about his condition:

While you might not be a huge Bieber fan due to his style of music, his beliefs, or perhaps those boyish good looks, it's difficult to not be impressed with his message. By addressing his fans directly, and showing them his more vulnerable side, he seems that little more humble, and a little more in touch with what really matters.

Of course, it's also very encouraging to hear someone with such an impressive number of followers on social media stand up and state that he is in need, and Jesus has been the one to help him. Hopefully this might inspire some of his millions of followers to lean on Jesus if ever they're in need.

Thankfully the facial paralysis is only temporary, and depending on the treatment, Bieber should recover fully within the following weeks.

The paralysis comes at a time when the couple also had to contend with Bieber's wife Hailey's own recent medical issues. Only in her mid-20s, the model had a blood clot while sitting eating breakfast with her husband just a couple of months ago. The TIA (transient ischemic attack) actually caused her face to droop, but the symptoms were temporary and her blood clot is being treated.

Hopefully, these health ordeals will help the couple grow together, and focus even more on what is truly important in life.
