Read this Bible verse to ease your heart and invite God to grant you a restful sleep.

Often when we lie down there are a million things going through our minds. This can make it difficult to fall asleep and can increase our anxiety.

One way to combat this is to recite a short Bible verse, inviting God into our lives and asking Him to watch over us as we sleep.

Here is a Bible verse from one of the Psalms to read before going to bed, reminding us that God is watching over us.

In peace I will both lie down and sleep;
for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Psalm 4:8
