(Video) Why did God let Peter, a good swimmer, sink?

Fr. Peter John Cameron, OP - published on 08/11/23

Peter never forgot that experience. He wrote about it later ...

Jesus is walking on the water and Peter goes to join him.

Why do you think God lets him sink?

Strength comes from being “submerged.”

Jesus stretched out his hand …

And Peter never forgot it: Bow humbly under God’s mighty hand …

Let the words of Jesus this weekend sink in: Take courage. It is I. Do not be afraid.
