The actress, singer and former Miss America sent out the news on Twitter:

They wed on July 4, 2015 in style in front of friends and family.

But Vanessa Williams and Jim Skrip – both 53-years-old – wanted to say I do all over again, this time in her own church.

On Monday the couple kissed after they took their vows, sharing the moment on Instagram.

The Ugly Betty vet wrote in her caption, ‘Yesterday we took one last walk down the aisle — this time in my little church. Officially wedded Catholic. Amen! #MyJim.’

…This is the third marriage for Williams

She shares daughters Melanie, 29, and Jillian, 27, and son Devin, 23, with ex-husband Ramon Hervey, to whom she was married from 1987 to 1997.

She and NBA star Rick Fox split in 2005 after six years of marriage, and share daughter Sasha, 16.

Williams revealed a few years ago in a memoir that she had an abortion when she was a teenager:

On Nightline, reporter Juju Chang asked Williams if it was hard for her, as a “nice Catholic girl,” to get an abortion. Williams replied, “It’s frightening. Being pregnant is the most frightening thing that happens in your life and I knew in high school that that was something I was not prepared to do or fight or struggle with.” Later, her mother (who cowrote the book) added, “I’m sorry she had to deal with this by herself.”

But there’s more:

Her faith also allows her to believe (rightly) in a loving God who forgives, even an abortion. “I’m still a practicing Catholic,” she writes. “Yes, I did confess, and I’m grateful for the opportunity of forgiveness. I go to church almost every Sunday and pray before I go to bed every night (like my dad taught me). I even have loving priest friends who have guided and helped me through many struggles in life.”
