“The scouts kept a vigil of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament on our penultimate day in camp, and they did this over a period of 10 hours in the rain and wind and cold – most impressive. At the international jamboree of the Scouts and Guides of Europe in Normandy, near Lisieux.

“Some of our Rover clan of Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati, which is based in Edinburgh, were present to provide service, and to enjoy the esprit de corps of the Scouts d’Europe; a most blessed time.” — Fr Lawrence Lew, O.P.
