It’s been a long 16 months without live, in-person concerts, but now they’re coming back in a big way. Leading the charge is Catholic artist Sarah Kroger, who has teamed with Madison Street Worship’s Corey Voss. The pair released a collaboration during the world pandemic and now they’re taking the new act on the road with a fresh tour.
Kroger and Voss have both enjoyed incredible success as solo artists. Now, they’ve joined forces with the Christian musical community REVERE. This multi-artist project, a branch of Integrity Worship, draws all sorts of Christian artists together for new and exciting faith music. They wrote of their goal on their website:
Kroger and Voss paired up to produce “There Is No Higher Name,” in August, 2020. The tune starts slow but builds to a fantastic hymn. The song is marked by an impressive performance from a chorus that supports both vocalists. The song was released as part of REVERE’s album Holy Place.
In an interview with The Christian Beat, Kroger said of the album:
Voss supported Kroger’s sentiments, noting that it’s not about what you bring to the music, but what the music brings to you. He said:
Now, Kroger and Voss are preparing to tour for the album in Fall of 2021. The press release notes that the events will include stories from the artists to “move you and unite you in the Holy Place.” If time permits, the pair of worship leaders will discuss their craft as well as songwriting, character and the heart of worship, mental health, and more.
The tour will run on dates from October through November. Be sure to visit REVERE’s website for more details as the dates get set in stone.
