The "better wine" of Cana "tells us that God wants what is better for us, he wants us to be happy," says Pope Francis.

Pope Francis reflected on the many details of Jesus' first miracle -- when he changed water to wine at the wedding feast in Cana -- saying that the "better wine" that Jesus created symbolizes that "God wants what is better for us, he wants us to be happy. [...] The joy Jesus brought to their hearts was complete and disinterested joy, a joy that was not diluted!"

Considering this "first of Jesus' signs," the Pope made a practical invitation.
