Fr. Isaac Augustine Morales, O.P. joined the Order of Preachers in 2012. Raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago, he completed a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Duke University, a master’s degree in theological studies at Notre Dame, and a doctorate in New Testament, once again at Duke. Subsequently, Fr. Isaac taught for four years in the theology department at Marquette University before finally answering the call to religious life. He made simple vows in 2013 and solemn vows in 2017. Fr. Isaac was ordained to the priesthood in May of 2018. Since then he has served as assistant professor in the theology department at Providence College, where he also serves as chaplain to the women’s soccer team, McVinney Residence Hall, and the Board of Programmers.
