It is customary in many countries for little girls to wear flower wreaths for their First Communion. It’s a lovely tradition embellishing the solemn ceremony and allowing one to express their faith in beauty and refinement. Of course, you can always buy a ready-made wreath for this great occasion. But it’s even better if you can make one yourself, with or without your child’s help.

This wreath must be made with leaves and flowers that dry well: baby-breaths, small roses, sea lavender, acrolinium, craspedia, santolina, hydrangea, ears of wheat, eucalyptus....  We are going to tell you how to make a wreath with the ears of wheat (the symbol of Eucharist) and baby's breath.
