Christ the King: the real power comes from His love

Athenas - published on 11/20/16

"Cristo Reina"

Argentine Catholic music artist Athenas brings us a song that springs from an encounter with God’s love. Recognizing that Christ is the center of everything, that Christ reigns, is one of the most important realizations in one’s life.

When we find a love as great and infinite as that of the love of God towards each of us, our hearts overflow with love.

It is an encounter so great that his power is poured into us, to the point that we desire to praise him and thank him for every single gift we have received and for our very lives.

The greatness of the Lord’s love touches anyone who seeks him out. We all have our own stories and ways of being, but once we have been touched by his love, our lives can no longer be the same.

The song “Cristo reina” (Christ reigns) is from her self-titled unplugged album, which can be purchased on iTunes.
