These women used their royal position to help others in need, especially the poor and sick.

Throughout history, many kings and queens have been either great sinners or inspiring saints. Each had a choice to use their power for the greater good of all, or to lord it over others to fulfill their own personal desires.

Thankfully, many kings and queens clung closely to Jesus Christ and walked each day in the light of the Gospel.
